STANDARD
Arrangement
Arrangement is the number of threads in one square inch on each the vertical (warp) and horizontal (weft) weave of the fabric.
For instance, 133X72 means there are 133 threads on the warp weave and 72 threads on the weft weave in one square inch of the fabric. The higher the number of threads on the weft weave, the higher and softer the density of the fabric.
Thread Count (TC)
Thread Count is the measure of threads in one square inch by counting up both the vertical (warp) and horizontal (weft) weave of the fabric.
TC is the unit of count. Thread Counts, however, do not have a direct correlation with the quality of fabrics.
Yarn Count (S)
Yarn Count is the standard of yarn thickness which calculated by the number of yarns counts with a pound yarn under the public moisture regain.
S is the unit of British count. The thinner and finer the yarn, the larger the S value of the yarn, for example, the 20S yarn is thicker than the 20S yarn.
