Knitted
Knitted is woven by intermeshing the loops of yarns. Loops are formed in horizontal (weft knitting) or vertical (warp knitting) direction when one loop is drawn through another.
Percale
Percale is woven by interlocking vertical and horizontal threads. Fabric is produced under a traditional one-yarn-over and one-yarn-under weave with threads.
Twill
Twill is woven by several warp threads that go over one weft thread at a time. The weft thread is woven over one or more warp threads and under one or more warp threads to produce the fabric.
Sateen
Sateen is sharing the same technique as Twill. Fabric is produced under a one-yarn-under and three-yarn-over weave with more thread surface instead. Four threads are offset by one weft thread in the next row to create a weave.
Terry (Towel)
Terry (Towel) is woven by the ground warp and the pile warp to form the base of a towel and its texture. Special looms that have two beams of longitudinal warp through which the filler or weft is fired laterally to form the fabric.
