Cotton

Cotton is a natural fiber that comes from the seedpod of the cotton plant.

The cotton plant is unraveled and cleaned to remove substances such as leaves, sand, dust, etc. The long fibers of seedpod are separated under the carding and combing process. The fibers are then elongated into yarn using a roving machine and wound on a bobbin.

Tencel

Tencel is a regenerated cellulose fiber that comes from the wood pulp under the wet-spinning process.

Dry wood pulp is harvested and doused amine oxide to separate the cellulose. The pulp is then pushed through a die of small holes to create threads that are spun into yarn and woven into fabric.

ProModal

ProModal is a natural cellulose fiber that comes from the Eucalyptus trees under the ecological and sustainable production process.

Wood pulp is harvested and doused amine oxide to separate the cellulose. The pulp is then pushed through a die of small holes to create threads that are spun into yarn and woven into fabric.

Silk

Silk is a natural fiber that comes from the silkworm under the sericulture.

The silkworm spins silk as a protective cocoon around itself. The cocoon is soaked in hot water to loosen the fibers after the chrysalis is dead. The fiber is then threaded through an eyelet and washed with oil or soap, dried and twisted into the fabric.

Wool

Wool is a natural fiber that comes from hairy mammals such as sheep, goats, and camels.

Hairy mammals like sheep are sheared and sorted according to different qualities. The raw wool is then cleaned under the carding process to remove dirt, grease, and dried sweat. The raw wool forms one strand of yarn by spinning and woven into fabric.
